Passionate about making complex data useful and accessible to support conservation, Sam helps M2 partners around the world fine-tune and monitor data collection and generate data products for maximum impact. Marine Monitor (M2) is an innovative sensor platform that supports long-term monitoring of human use and real-time enforcement action for marine protected areas. We will explore the technology behind M2, why it’s a smart choice for monitoring sensitive coastal ecosystems, and how it’s being used around the world to support ocean conservation.
