About the course
Disrupt the networks behind wildlife trafficking
The course helps law enforcement investigators identify and disrupt transnational organized crime groups involved in wildlife trafficking. When you finish, you will have the knowledge and skills to identify and disrupt organized, cross-border wildlife trafficking supply chains.
Course description and background
CTOC is a modular training package that draws on real case typologies to give law enforcement networks the capacity to dismantle organized crime syndicates. It was developed in response to the need to combine capacity building with platforms, systems, skills and knowledge that improve coordination, collaboration and information sharing.
Who is this course for?
Law enforcement professionals, including police and customs officers, border agents, attorneys and judges.
What technology do you need?
Reliable internet access with the ability to stream videos.
How long does it take?
Each module takes about one to one and a half hours, including the video, the reference materials and the tests. Besides the introductory video and presentation there are currently 16 modules. Total course time is about 32 to 35 hours.
